The title track on Deeper is one of those songs that so quickly take you into God's presence and articulates so beautifully and powerfully the cry of all of us who want a closer and deeper walk with our Heavenly Father. The CD has a long top-of-the-pile life not only due to the title track but because it has such a stong and varied selection of songs from the light, catchy "Sold Out" to the gentle "The Apple of my Father's Eye". The production has a professional feel making sparing but sensitive use of flute and cello along with the more usual band line up - an excellent debut album.

An excellent first album with some great musicianship but what is most impressive is the quality of the songs all of which have been written by Yvette.
I would have prefered it if the voice had come over stronger as indeed it did in the Live performance CD launch but certainly the quality and sincerity of the lyrics more than make up for any vocal timerity.
